Questions
How long will the Goal Zero Yeti 1000X run a CPAP?
Runs. At the AirSense 11 user-guide typical of 56.1 W, usable energy is 847 Wh and runtime is about 15.1 hr.
What does the 0.85 factor do?
Willrun multiplies nameplate watt-hours by 0.85 before dividing by average draw. That allowance is for inverter loss. It is not a measured efficiency for this model.
Is the surge rating safe to use for a fridge or a pump?
The extra headroom on this model is not published as a motor surge. Willrun does not treat it as locked-rotor starting capacity.
Where do the station numbers come from?
Battery block: 997 Wh, NMC, 500 cycles to 80% at 1C, 31.68 lb. The ports section says 1,500 W and 3,500 W surge; a diagram label on the same page says 1,500 W and 3,000 W surge. The surge is omitted because the page disagrees with itself. Continuous 1,500 W is consistent.
