Disclosure

Affiliate disclosure

Willrun does not use affiliate links in this version. Every Check price button opens the manufacturer page until a URL is added in links.json.

ControlWhat it does now
links.jsonOne href and one merchant name per station slug. Null href means the manufacturer source URL is used.
Check priceOpens in a new tab. Sponsored relationships are added only when the href is filled in.
RankingsOrdered by published watt-hours, weight, or a stated appliance runtime. Not by who might pay.

If a link on Willrun is ever an affiliate link, using it may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That will be labeled on the button and recorded in links.json. Specs stay sourced to the manufacturer or ENERGY STAR page named on the row.

Questions

Does Willrun earn a commission today?

No. src/data/links.json sets every station href to null. The button is labeled Check price and the note under it says no affiliate link is set.

How will a future affiliate link be marked?

When an href is present, the same button uses rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" and the note names the merchant. The disclosure on this page still applies.

Do affiliate links change the verdict?

No. The runs, surge-risk, and won't-run results are computed from published watts. A paid link cannot add a station to a ranking or hide a surge risk.

Who publishes Willrun?

Willrun is an independent spec comparison at https://willitrunpower.com. Questions about sponsorship go to sponsors@willrun.example.
