Questions

Can the WEN DF1100T run Panasonic NN-SU656WAWH microwave, electrical input?

Runs. Running draw 1,500 W fits within 8,300 running watts and this is not a motor-start load.

What watts were compared?

Generator: 8,300 running W and 11,000 starting W on gasoline. Appliance: 1,500 W running, startup not published.

How long will it run?

Fuel runtime depends on total load. Published runtime: 8.5 hr at 50% load on gasoline, 3 hr on a 20-lb propane tank.

Where did the numbers come from?

WEN product page and manual: gasoline 11000 surge / 8300 running; propane 9500 / 7500; 4 GFCI 5-20R, L5-30R, 14-50R, 12V DC; 6.6 gal; 8.5 hr gas at 50%, 3 hr propane (20 lb). No L14-30R: a 30A 240V inlet needs a 14-50P to L14-30R adapter cord, which Willrun does not assume. Panasonic lists power supply 120 V / 60 Hz, microwave output 1,100 W, and microwave power consumption 1,500 W. The station has to supply the 1,500 W input, not the 1,100 W cooking output. A separate startup surge is not published. X-Boost and Power Lifting are not applied, because those modes are described for simple heating loads and a microwave is an electronic supply.
